Regional Sales Manager

Purpose of Position: Our Regional Sales Manager (RSM) actively seeks and generates new business throughout selected regions.

Major accountabilities:    Including but not limited to:

  • Generates and tracks leads that result in the recruitment of new business through Rhino Linings Retail, Industrial, Epoxy, Rhino Roofing, and Home Pro.
  • Actively participates in monthly sales meetings and other sales department events including tradeshows and conferences.
  • Maintains a high level of satisfaction with our new customers.
  • Manages a series of complex sales cycles, accounts issues and be a proactive problem solver.
  • Provides some technical training to our new customers, aid in new customer setups and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Monitors new customers for proper chemical use and for use of outside chemicals and components.
  • Roll out all new products, equipment, programs and partnerships to your new customers.
  • Presents and promotes RLCorp to local automotive dealerships and automotive OEM accounts.
  • Assists new customers in developing other applications.
  • Supports company-wide ISO9001 quality program by following written procedures and safety requirements.
  • Supports organizational goals, procedures, and policies with a high level of attention to detail; superior customer service and professionalism.
  • Ensures all personnel practice safety in all operations, immediately reporting any unsafe or questionable issue or concerns.

Qualifications:

  • A four year college degree in business, chemical and/or mechanical engineering field of study.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, able to work with minimal supervision.
  • A working knowledge of plural components polymer systems.
  • A business or sales background work experience.
  • Experience with plastics, coatings, or paint and applications.
  • Frequent travel will be required after initial training; relocation will not be required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team setting with diverse persons.
  • Three-year computer experience in Windows environment software, MS Word, Excel and computerized software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Pleasant, positive, and confident presentation of self and company.
  • Ability to prioritize duties and meet regular processing deadlines.

Regional Account Manager (RAM) - Northeast

Purpose of Position:  

Our Regional Account Manager (RAM) actively provides superior technical support, promotes business development initiatives and facilitates training to our U.S. dealer networks covering Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Brunswick, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Ontario, Pennsylvania, Quebec Rhode Island and Vermont. (Frequent travel will be required after initial training in San Diego CA., relocation will not be required).

Major accountabilities: Including but not limited to:
  • Provides support and training for our dealers.
  • Maintains a high level of satisfaction with our dealers.
  • Promotes business development initiatives and provides corrective measures with poor performing accounts
  • Manages a series of complex sales cycles, accounts issues and a proactive problem solver.
  • Provides technical training to our dealers, aid in dealer setups, and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Monitors dealers for proper chemical use and for use of outside chemicals and components.
  • Conducts dealer warranty reviews, safety plans, and legal standing to establish status; develops and implements any corrective actions, if needed.
  • Rolls out all new products, equipment, programs and partnerships to dealers.
  • Presents and promotes Rhino Linings to local automotive dealerships.
  • Assists new dealers in shop layout and advanced design.
  • Assists dealers in developing other applications, (i.e. trailers and farm equipment).

Qualifications:

  • Degree in chemistry or mechanical engineering, and four or more years experience in applying coating to industrial type equipment, or vehicles.
  • Coatings, automotive or plastics experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of plural component paint and/or polymers systems or coating experience required.
  • Business development ability and training skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team setting with diverse persons.
  • Pleasant, positive, and confident presentation of self and organization.
  • Ability to prioritize duties and meet regular processing deadlines.
